To provide CPO with a comprehensive charging solution, in addition to the charging management platform, we also offer an EV Charging App. This app enables CPO’s customers to easily locate stations and charge cars through the app, while also providing a range of additional features to enhance user engagement. The app accommodates different user scenarios and integrates charging information with the charging management platform.
Challenge
To maintain flexibility in the app while serving different end users for various CPOs
Provide different user roles with their respective workflows and functionalities, such as regular members, advanced members, app-downloaded but unregistered visitors, and non-app temporary users. In addition to that, we apply modular design approach to maintain customization flexibility.
Home charger onboarding
Apart from the usage scenario of public chargers, we aim to integrate the onboarding process for own chargers into the app, allowing users to complete the charging process for both private and public chargers through a single app.
Providing different reservation processes for AC chargers and DC chargers
AC chargers are categorized as slow chargers, while DC chargers are fast chargers. The reservation process for AC chargers differs from that of DC chargers. AC charger reservations are typically made in advance, ranging from one day to a week, as users prefer to secure longer time slots for charging. On the other hand, DC charger reservations are often made on the spot, as the fast charging capability allows users to charge immediately when needed.
