The platform simplifies the operational processes for Charge Point Operators (CPO), delivering a better user experience and service. The platform features include charger onboarding, charger status monitoring, remote control and management, power usage management, data analysis and reporting, transaction records, user management, fault alerts, and operational settings.
My Responsibilities
In this project, I participated as a UI/UX designer in the development process and was involved in the function planning on phase 1. In the initial stages of the project, my main responsibility was to establish a foundational Design Library in the UI aspect, which included components such as buttons, colors, fonts, tables, and more. This was done to enhance efficiency in future UI design tasks.
Additionally, I also carried out UX-related work by conducting research and analysis on similar management platforms. I combined the research result with the functional requirements to plan the workflow and made corresponding adjustments based on feedback from the product owners and clients.
Challenge
Individuals with little familiarity in the domain during the early stage
We begin the process of planning platform functionalities by conducting extensive observations of different management platforms and consulting individuals with relevant experience.
Maintain a good user experience while keeping the platform functionalities flexible
Simplify complex processes and streamline workflows to reduce friction and improve efficiency. And Provide visual information to enhance operability for improving user experience.
Feedback and function iterations
As a startup with our first product, we are in the early stage where we do not yet have a clear customer base. Therefore, we need to gather extensive feedback from potential customers to quickly adjust the features and user flow to meet their needs.
